Dr. Lempert attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Cincinnati, and is board certified in Emergency Medicine and EMS. He currently serves as the Vice President of Coding Policy for TeamHealth. Dr. Lempert co-chairs the EDPMA Quality, Coding and Documentation Committee (QCDC) and is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Coding and Nomenclature Committee, responsible and the ACEP Reimbursement Committee. He is a certified Emergency Department Coder and a frequent speaker on Documentation, Coding, Quality Assurance, and EMS issues.
